Introduction: Ryan Woitalewicz

My name is Ryan Woitalewicz. I am a Junior at Wood River High School. I have two siblings, Matthew, who lives in Lincoln, and Logan who is a 4th grader. I also live with my mom. She has taken the role of both mom and dad the past eleven years of my life, because, when I was very young, my father lost his life in a Valentine's Day house fire.
I am very active in the community, as well as in the school. For the past four years, I have volunteered over roughly 500 hours at an After School Program, where I'm a mentor for elementary students. Also, during the summer months, I volunteer at the local library and read to students and do reading comprehension activities. Additionally, in the summer months I also volunteer at three local churches and help assist in Vacation Bible School studies. Meanwhile, the activities I am involved in at school are Chorus, One-Act, All-School Play, All-School Musical, Youth Leadership Tomorrow, Spanish Club, and Close-Up.
After high school, I plan to complete the requirements and studies to become a paramedic from the program at Southeast Community College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Finally, when things have settled down, I look forward to finding a babe, moving back to the area, and starting a family.
